Kurz vor Birrhard dann hinauf auf das Birrfeld. Eine weite grosse Ebene. Der Wind wehte ziemlich heftig über diese Fläche.
Ich fuhr eine Weile entlang der Autobahn bis nach Mägenwil, wechselte dann wieder hinüber und hinunter ins Reusstal.

Die frühlingshafte Stimmung von Silvester war wie weggeblasen. Kalt und undurchdringlich dick lag der Nebel über der Gegend. Nach dem Mittagessen wollte ich aber dennoch eine Runde auf dem Rad fahren. Schon bald bemerkte ich, dass es der Sonne wohl demnächst gelingen könnte, den Nebel aufzulösen.

Ich war gerade ins Villigerfeld hinaufgekurbelt als die Nebelschwaden entlang dem Bruggerberg zurück ins Aaretal zogen, als ob sie sich dort, im Schatten des Bruggerberges, vor den Sonnenstrahlen verstecken könnten.
Ich rollte über das Villigerfeld hinauf bis nach Mönthal. Überall ein ähnliches Bild: auf der Wiese, meist im Schatten von Hügeln, sammelten sich die Nebelresten bevor sie sich dann doch ganz auflösten. (mehr …)
